ANCELOTTI'S COBHAM TRIP
After agreeing to become our new manager early last month, Carlo Ancelotti visited Cobham for the first time shortly afterwards with assistant Ray Wilkins.
The Italian was announced as Guus Hiddink's replacement on June 1, and will begin work tomorrow, July 1, before meeting the players for the first time when pre-season training begins on Monday.

During the visit the pair had plenty to talk about, having both played for AC Milan in the 1980s, Ancelotti slotting into the midfield following Ray's departure in 1987.

Having reminisced about their shared past, the pair turned to discussing their future at Stamford Bridge, with Ray guiding the new manager around our training facilities and introducing him to members of staff.

Ancelotti, who recently turned 50, was impressed with what he saw and now looks forward to getting started when his players arrive next week.
