Michael Mancienne took less than a minute of England Under 21s' match against Azerbaijan to register his first goal at that level.

He turned in a rebound after 48 seconds of Monday's friendly in Milton Keynes after a header from central defensive partner James Tomkins had hit the post.

Mancienne, winning his 12th Under 21 cap, was one of only five players to play the full match in what was a warm-up for the Under 21 European Championships. Stuart Pearce's side even ended the game with two keepers on the pitch, but it didn't stop them winning 7-0.

England's group schedule for the tournament in Sweden is:

June 15
England U21 v Finland U21

June 18
Spain U21 v England U21

June 22
Germany U21 v England U21
